Description

KSQ Therapeutics is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Senior / Associate Principal to join the Immunobiology group. This individual will serve as an expert immunologist to support KSQ-003, an autologous TIL therapy, as well as develop next generation adoptive cell therapies. This is a unique opportunity to learn and develop in a highly dynamic and interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and establish assays to assess the biological impact of modification of KSQ’s targets in primary human T cells and TILs.
  • Develop novel methods to isolate and expand TILs from diverse tumor types
  • Reliably deliver data to support IND submissions
  • Support ongoing target ID/validation work, including assessing MoA of novel adoptive cell therapy targets
  • Develop and deliver scientific presentations and reports in a fast and efficient manner
  • Serve as scientific mentor for junior colleagues

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Immunology or a related discipline, with a postdoc and 2-3 years industry experience. Alternatively, BS/MS candidates with 10+ years immunology industry experience will be considered. Expert in T cell biology
  • Expertise with standard immunological laboratory techniques, including flow cytometry, ELISA/MSD/Luminex, cell culture, western blotting, molecular biology (qRT-PCR, cloning)
  • Hands-on experience in the design, execution and analysis of functional assays using primary immune cells
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for participating across functional groups and externally
  • Demonstrated productivity as evidenced by quality publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands on experience in immuno-oncology, especially working with human tumor infiltrating lymphocytes
  • Experience using CRISPR-based genome-editing techniques to engineer cells
