Associate Scientist - Target Discovery

Position summary

KSQ Therapeutics is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Associate Scientist to join the Target Discovery group. The successful applicant will use their cell and molecular biology understanding to support the development of autologous T cell transfer therapies. This is a unique opportunity to learn and develop in a highly dynamic and interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform supervisor-guided cell and molecular biology experiments in the lab
  • Contribute to the development and characterization of genetically engineered cancer cell lines, and primary immune cells
  • Support process development efforts for KSQ’s autologous T cell transfer therapy programs
  • Document, and communicate experimental design and data
  • Work enthusiastically as part of an interdisciplinary team

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in biology, immunology, or a related field
  • Background in cell and molecular biology
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a research laboratory
  • Desired hands-on experience
    • Mammalian tissue culture and transfection techniques
    • Cellular growth assays and phenotyping
    • Molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA isolation, qPCR, and Western blotting
  • Excellent experimental documentation, as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and team player mentality
