Requirements

Position Summary:

KSQ Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated scientist to apply their experience in molecular biology towards the discovery of next generation cancer cell therapies. This skilled scientist will help develop novel gene-editing strategies to enhance our eTIL programs. This is an opportunity to learn, contribute across the company, and flourish in KSQ’s dynamic, highly interdisciplinary, and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Associate Scientist: BS degree with 1-3 years of industry experience / Scientist: MS degree preferred with 2-4+ years of industry experience in molecular biology required
• Experience with modern techniques including CRISPR for genetic engineering and assaying gene function a must (NGS, ddPCR, qPCR, molecular cloning, tissue culture, flow cytometry)
• Experience in gene editing in cell therapies a big plus
• Independently developed and applied unique NGS methods or in vitro assays to characterize immuno-oncology targets
• Demonstrated agility, excellent verbal/written communication, and interpersonal skills to work across functions and with collaborators
• Assist in querying novel technologies and mechanisms for therapeutic intervention
• The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team contributing to the design and execution of experiments that support our research activities and project goals
