Position Summary

KSQ Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Associate Scientist, Immuno-Oncology to apply functional genomics towards the identification and characterization of novel drug targets for therapeutic intervention in the treatment of cancer. This individual will assist in the development of in vitro and in vivo model systems that enable querying immune-related disease pathways using CRISPR/Cas9 functional genomic screens, and will contribute to drug discovery efforts as needed.  The new team member will join a dynamic, enthusiastic, highly interdisciplinary, and collaborative team.

Key Qualifications

  • BS or MS in biology or related discipline is required
  • 0-3 years in a biopharmaceutical setting
  • Demonstrated interest in immunology and cancer research
  • Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques, including aseptic culture technique, molecular biology, cell based assays and comfort working with animal models
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively as part of a fast-paced research team
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, attention to detail, and team player mentality


  • Assist in querying novel pathways and mechanisms for immunological therapeutic intervention
  • Support of in vivo animal model experiments
  • Develop and deliver scientific presentations and reports in a fast and efficient manner
  • Participate in various aspects of small company capability building
